As we were in 2016, this year we were overwhelmed with the quality of applications from business, clinical, engineering and biomedical science students and professionals. We had 94 expressions of interest for this course! It shows a real entrepreneurial interest from WA professionals and students to enter the fast growing MedTech industry.
We are now reviewing applications, which means some late nights for us! The calibre of applications is exceptionally high, however, there are only a limited number of seats available. We will try to match teams on personality, experience, expertise and passion of applicants. Some very tough choices ahead.
Invitations to successful applicants to attend the course will be sent out on the 8th of May.
Matching people, who have never met before, into functional medical device teams is a tricky activity. Fortunately, we have been able to rely on team and leadership development coaches.
