This breakfast will explore ‘disruptive and emerging technologies’ for the future and will talk about the shifts that may make healthcare delivery better, safer and faster. It will also address the question if patients, healthcare providers and consumers are ready to embrace AI and robotics. What is the data, what are the facts and what are the benefits and is trust and the human factor really a challenge?
Our speakers will be sharing their views on AI and robotics and what it means for patients and those delivering healthcare as well as how important it is for the State of Victoria and Australia to be taking proactive action in this space. We will be joined by speakers from both industry and surgical perspectives and will hear about the cutting-edge Australian Medical Robotics Academy – the only centre in Australasia & the Pacific to provide future-focused robotic surgical training. We will also hear about artificial intelligence platforms which support a range of different machine learning approaches and what that means in a clinical context and how artificial intelligent software is monitoring drug usage out of automated dispensing cabinets in Hospitals.
