A fellow MTPConnect-funded program has kicked off with the launch of the 2018 BridgeTech Program. BridgeTech follows on from the successful Bridge Program, launched in 2017, in which mid-career researchers and experienced entrepreneurs learn how to commercialise pharmaceuticals.
Launched today to coincide with AusMedTech and the 10 year anniversary of the Medical Device Partnering Program, the BridgeTech program aims to provide practical skills in relation to the commercialisation of medical technology including devices & diagnostics. The focus of the training program will be on the scientific, legal, financial, clinical, regulatory and reimbursement disciplines that contribute to research translation.
The BridgeTech Program is developed and administered by Queensland University of Technology and has been crafted and developed in collaboration with its consortium members including industry and university partners and organisations in the medical-biotechnology sector such as Flinders University, Siemens Healthcare, Hydrix, University of Western Australia, Magnetica, University of Newcastle, MTAA, Ausbiotech and many others.
Expressions of interest for the program close on June 1st 2018 and are open to mid-career scientists, academics, industry related professionals and entrepreneurs across Australia within the medical technology sector. Find more information here or express interest below.
