We were very proud to host our 2019 Life Sciences Innovation Expo last week (Friday, 6th of September) at the University of Sydney. The event was an opportunity for graduates and participants of the programs we support – SPARK Oceania, Biodesign Australia and CERI – to come together and meet the Sydney innovation ecosystem as well as the visiting international delegates from SPARK Global.

Four top teams were picked to represent each state and program to present a 10 minute presentation on their research/company. These were:

Mark Gardner from PDTech (Adelaide Biodesign – SA) – A digital health solution empowering Parkinson’s patients to take control of their disease.

Laura Downie from ADMiER (SPARK Melbourne – VIC) – A one-step, point-of-care test to rapidly and accurately diagnose dry eye.
